Handling Rejection

 Allah knows best

Whatever happens, just know that Allah is the best planner

May Allah ease everyone 🥺

Sometimes we want something so badly, 

We put 110% effort into it, 

And yet we don't get what we wanted

So it feels like a rejection

It feels like a failure

It feels like a huge setback

Perhaps, the reason for that is because 

There's a teeny weeny part of us that believes that whatever we want is the best for us

But.... Is it really? 

In reality, we are short sighted in how we see the world. 

We can only see what is right in front of us, 

But we have a blurry vision of what is far away

And perhaps, we wanted a durian tree, but Allah gave us seeds. 

We plant, letak baja, siram, jaga segala bagai sampai sakit badan, bahu, kaki, tunggu berbulan-bulan lama, 

rupa-rupanya that was a musang king punya durian

The best kind of durian

The thing is, apa yang kita minta tu, Allah akan bagi. 

Cumanya bila, macam mana, kat mana tu semua, Allah yang tentukan. 

Because Allah knows best. 

And even if we don't get what we prayed for, tu sebenarnya sebab Allah nak bagi yang lebih baik. 

"And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided." (2:186)

So chin up, buck up. 

Let bygones be bygones. 

Whatever happened in 2020 has passed, 

And now we have to get back up stronger. 

May 2021 be better for all of us InsyaAllah :)
